Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AcePrompt AI ("AcePrompt", "we", "us") - the website at acepromptai.com and the AcePrompt desktop applications. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

AcePrompt is a real-time AI assistant for interviews and calls: it transcribes conversation audio, generates suggested answers personalised to the resume and context you provide, and offers related tools (diagrams, screenshot answering, resume and cover-letter tools). AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete - it is assistance, not advice, and you are responsible for what you say and do with it.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal: one account per person, not for sharing or resale.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AcePrompt complies with the laws, agreements and policies that apply to you - including any rules set by an interviewer, employer, platform or institution. AcePrompt does not grant you permission to breach agreements you have with others.
• Only capture or transcribe audio where you have the legal right to do so in your jurisdiction.
• No attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or abuse the service, its APIs or its fair-use limits.
• Subscriptions are subject to fair-use limits designed for genuine personal interview use; automated or commercial extraction of AI output is not permitted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Credits, subscriptions and payments

• Credit packs are one-time purchases. 1 credit = 1 hour of live copilot time, metered per minute of active session. Credits never expire.
• Subscriptions (monthly or quarterly) provide unlimited copilot hours under fair use for the paid period, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Prices are shown before checkout; applicable taxes (e.g. GST) are added at payment. Payments are processed by our payment partners - we never store your card details.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy - in short, a 7-day refund on unused credits.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (resumes, documents) and your session data. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service - storing, processing and sending it to our AI providers to generate your answers, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service fast and available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, and it depends on third-party providers (transcription, AI models, payments) we do not control. We may change, add or remove features, and may update these terms - material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AcePrompt is not liable for indirect or consequential damages - including interview or employment outcomes, lost opportunities or lost profits - arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
