Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data AcePrompt AI ("AcePrompt", "we", "us") collects when you use acepromptai.com and the AcePrompt desktop apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we store what's needed to run your account and personalise your answers, your live interview audio is transcribed in real time and not stored as audio, and you can delete your data at any time.

What we collect

• Account data. Your email address and authentication identifiers (including your Google account email if you sign in with Google). We never see or store your Google password.
• Documents you upload. Resumes and knowledge-base documents, stored as extracted text and used solely to personalise your interview answers.
• Session content. If you enable "Save transcript & review to my history" when setting up a session, we store the session transcript and the questions and answers so you can review them later. If you leave it off, the session content is not saved to your history.
• Usage and billing data. Session durations, credit balance and purchase history - what's needed to meter usage and bill correctly.
• Product telemetry. Technical events (app version, platform, request timings, errors) used to keep the service reliable. Diagnostic request logs are retained for a maximum of 14 days.

How interview audio is processed

During a live session, audio is streamed directly to our transcription provider (Deepgram) over an encrypted connection using short-lived, session-scoped keys, and converted to text in real time. We do not store your audio. The resulting text is sent to our AI providers to generate answers, together with the context you provided (resume, role, company).

Third parties we rely on

We share data only with the processors required to operate the product:

• Supabase - authentication and database hosting.
• Deepgram - real-time speech-to-text.
• OpenAI and Google - the AI models that generate answers, diagrams and document processing, accessed via their business APIs, under which your data is not used to train their models.
• Google Cloud - application hosting.
• Razorpay and Dodo Payments - payment processing. We never see or store your card details.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Retention and deletion

• Account data, documents and saved session history are kept until you delete them or your account.
• You can delete individual resumes, documents and saved sessions from the dashboard at any time.
• Diagnostic request logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
• To delete your account and all associated data, email support@acepromptai.com from your account email. We complete deletion within 30 days.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Provider API keys never leave our servers - the desktop apps authenticate with your account session only. Access to production data is restricted to the operators of the service.
